The National Literacy Trust’s 21st Century Author programme 2015 was kicked-started with an induction day on 18th December at Hachette Children’s Books in central London, led by Jim Sells from the National Literacy Trust and PJ Norman, Justin Somper and Amy Finegan from AuthorProfile.

Thirty-two authors/illustrators – ranging from picture book to teen – have been selected for the programme, which delivers three days of events training, after being put forward by their publishers and literary agents including: Hachette Children’s Books, Curious Fox, Lucas Alexander Whitley Ltd, Hot Key Books, Simon & Schuster, Walker Books, Piccadilly Press, Indie Books, Penguin Children’s Books, Maverick Arts Publishing, Macmillan Children’s Books, Random House Children’s Books, Sophie Hicks Agency, Usborne Publishing, Felicity Bryan Associates, and Oxford University Press.

We’d like to welcome the following authors and illustrators to the AuthorProfile and National Literacy Trust family:
