The gang at AuthorProfile are thrilled by the news that the ultra-talented Sophy Henn is now the official Illustrator for World Book Day 2015. She has created the illustrations on the website and on the tokens, resource packs and display materials for World Book Day. If you’ve had your hands on her first book – the beautifully illustrated WHERE BEAR? – you will have an idea of why this is such a brilliant pairing.

AuthorProfile had the pleasure of working with Sophie through her involvement in the National Literacy Trust’s 21st Century Author and Premier League Reading Stars programmes and, as a result, have seen first hand Sophy’s dedication to her craft and to reaching out to parents, children and the community.

Sophie was shortlisted for the AOI Illustration Awards (the most comprehensive and highest profile illustration awards based in the UK) for WHERE BEAR? and her new book, POM POM GETS THE GRUMPS, will be out in February 2015. Find out more on Sophy’s author profile page.
