Marcus has worked in the digital arena since the mid nineties. His early career was focused on developing many publishing websites, most notably: RoaldDahl.com, PeterRabbit.com, Paddingtonbear.co.uk for which many of these sites were award winning – including such awards as: IPTOP Award (Zurich) and RLD MediaFestival global Grand Award (Hamburg) as well as many highlighted projects and case studies on Adobe (formally Macromedia).
Marcus then became a lead flash developer for Kabel New Media AG and worked between the UK and Hamburg offices on web based interactives for clients such as BMW, Mini, FIFA & Nokia to name but a few.
In 2001 Marcus opened the digital agency e-bloc Interactive along with 2 other partners. During 10 years at e-bloc they worked on a wide range of projects, with Marcus mainly focusing on the publishing and entertainment industries, with clients such as: OlogyWorld.com, 2009-2011 Summer Reading Challenge for the Reading Agency, continuation of work on RoaldDahl.com, Discovery Channel, many projects with Disney including work on digital campaigns for Cars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Ratatouille, Chronicles of Narnia and Playhouse Disney Bedtime.
Since 2011 Marcus has worked freelance for mixture of his own clients and a wide range of high profile digital advertising agencies focusing on App development, digital advertising & marketing projects. Marcus has also recently worked on ident software automation for the new BBC2 idents and other channels including My5 & 5Select (Channel5)
