SUMMER STARTS EARLY WITH NADIA MARKS

PHILLIP PJ NORMAN - May 30, 2018 - 0 comments

The Hellenic Centre hosted the launch of Secrets Under the Sun, the latest novel from Nadia Marks – following on from her brilliantly received novel Among the Lemon Trees

Secret’s Under the Sun is Nadia’s second novel with Pan Macmillan and transports us to the small seaside town of Larnaka in Cyprus. Three childhood friends have reunited for the funeral of Katerina, the much-loved old woman who had a profound effect on their lives. Her loss leaves the friends bereft, but the funeral is not just a time to mourn and remember – but also the time to share a family’s secrets that will answer the riddles of their childhood. Secret’s Under the Sun is a story of deception and forbidden love and it’s refreshingly readable. It’s just the book to pack in your holiday hand luggage this summer.
