Karen Owen has been published regularly, starting out as a journalist on regional and national publications before turning to fiction. She writes short literary stories for adults but her passion is writing for children.
She loves visiting schools, libraries and festivals where she runs creative writing workshops for primary-age children. She’s currently working on a historical fantasy series for 9 to 12-year-olds.
