Alex English writes silly rhyming picture books for children. She is also working on a novel for 9-12s. Prior to this she worked as a freelance journalist and copywriter for titles including the Guardian and GLAMOUR.

Yuck said the Yak is apicture book by Alex English & Emma Levey that tells the tale of a Yak who comes to stay. Alfie is the perfect host, and offers all manner of refreshments, to which the Yak says YUCK!
