“You know, Salvo, I’m sure I say my share of stupid things, but when you come out with one, it’s always a whopper.” (Domenico ‘Mimì’ Augello) This campaign is all about celebrating the things we adore about Inspector Salvo Montalbano. Because everyone has an opinion, right? “To say you’re a real piece of shit is putting it mildly.” (Livia Burlando)

To showcase the quirky characters, Andrea Camilleri’s witty dialogue, and of course all things Salvo Montalbano: his frequent stops – a lunch of sauté of clams in breadcrumbs, a heaped dish of spaghetti with white clam sauce, a roast turbot with oregano and caramelized lemon, and topped off with a bitter chocolate timbale in orange sauce! –  for food, the Sicilian landscape he loves, and the amazing line-up of characters around him, from Livia Burlando and Giuseppe Fazio, to the brilliantly mad-cap Dr Pasquano, Domenico “Mimì” Augello and Agatino “Cat” Catarella.
