Kate Mosse is an award-winning novelist, playwright and non-fiction writer, the author of six novels and short story collections, including the multimillion-selling Languedoc Trilogy – Labyrinth, Sepulchre and Citadel – and number one bestselling Gothic fiction The Winter Ghosts and The Taxidermist’s Daughter.

Her books have been translated into thirty-seven languages and published in more than forty countries. The Founder Director of the Women’s Prize for Fiction, she is also the Deputy Chair of the National Theatre in London.

Kate’s novels include the Languedoc Trilogy Labyrinth (2005), Sepulchre (2007) and Citadel (2012), as well as titles Eskimo Kissing (1996), Crucifix Lane (1998), The Winter Ghosts (2009), and The Taxidermist’s Daughter (2014). Kate’s short story collection The Mistletoe Bride & Other Haunting Tales was released in 2013. The Burning Chambers (2018) is the first of Kate’s The Burning Chambers books with Pan Macmillan.
