Pittacus Lore is Lorien’s ruling elder. He has been on Earth for the last twelve years preparing for the war that will decide Earth’s fate. His whereabouts are unknown.

The first book in his Lorien Legacies series, I Am Number Four (2011), is now a major Disney motion picture. Subsequent novels include The Power of Six (2012), The Rise of Nine (2013), The Fall of Five (2014), The Revenge of Seven (2015), The Fate of Ten (2016) and the final book in the series, United As One (2017).

The Lorien universe now includes accompanying journals and notebooks, the Legacy Chronicles series and the Lorien Legacies Reborn series, with the latest Return to Zero released in 2019.

Campaign

To ramp up activity on the Facebook page and website for I AM NUMBER FOUR/PITTACUS LORE in the lead-up to and over the UK release of The Rise of Nine in hardback, with a particular view to deeper, more entertaining engagement with hardcore fans. To achieve this in a creative way which both delights core fans – by imaginatively taking them right inside the books and characters – but is entirely palatable to the books’ creator(s).

An immersive, interactive and memorable campaign that whipped readers into a frenzy by inviting them deep into the conspiracy, and convinced them to aid, abet and counsel a fugitive hiding from the Mogadorians and the US government.

A intense spike in social media activity, using multiple inter-connecting pages, to create a deeper sense of buzz about the franchise amongst the core – especially teen – audience tuned in to the 300,000-strong Facebook community.
